Inspiring Communities is a community-led regeneration charity working with people and communities across Stirling.

We work in places where poverty, inequality, loneliness and limited access to opportunities can affect people’s wellbeing and ability to participate.

Our role is to bring people together, provide practical support and create opportunities that respond to local needs and strengths.

Our work spans early years and family support, learning and employment, digital inclusion, volunteering, health and wellbeing, social connection, dementia-inclusive activity and intergenerational work. These areas are connected, allowing people to access different kinds of support and opportunities as their needs and circumstances change.

We provide welcoming, inclusive and trauma-informed spaces where people can build relationships, develop skills, grow in confidence and become more involved in community life. We also offer practical assistance and trusted signposting, helping people access wider services when needed.

Local people help shape our work through their experiences, ideas, participation and leadership. We work closely with volunteers, schools, public services, funders and community partners to make support easier to access and ensure resources respond to what matters locally.

Our main hub is in Raploch, but we deliver activities and support across Stirling. Wherever we work, our aim is the same: to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, widen opportunity and support people to have a stronger voice in their communities.
